All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar has been established as an Autonomous Institution and Institute of National Importance through the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012. By virtue of this Act, the Institute grants its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions.  AIIMS, Bhubaneswar invites online applications from Indian Citizens as per Govt. of India, Residency Scheme, 1992 for the post of Senior Residents (Non - Academic) for the tenure Period of 03 years 

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

  • 83 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) posts across 35 departments
  • 1 Project Technical Support-III position

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Refer to Annexure-I. • To be eligible for selection for these posts, the candidates should pass the qualifying examination by 31.08.2026 & result should be declared to this effect on or before this date. The tenure of qualifying degree should also be completing latest by 31.08.2026.

• Only those candidates who have been/are declared successful in their qualifying degree exam/viva i.e. DNB/MD/MS/DM/MCh (as applicable) and will be completing their tenure for the same on or before 31.08.2026 will be eligible to the considered for these posts. 

Age limit: The upper age limit for applying these posts is 45 years on the last date of application. (Authority:  Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Letter U.12016/10/2019-ME dated 02/01/2020)  

Pay Scale:

• Rs. 67,700/- as per 7th CPC, Level –11 of the Pay Matrix + NPA plus other usual Allowances as admissible under rules.

•  General/OBC Category: Rs. 1770 / (1500/- + 18% GST) with transaction Charges as applicable.
•  SC/ST/EWS Category   : Rs. 1416 /-(1200/- + 18% GST) with transaction Charges as applicable.
